BROTHERS — Stage Play

Two estranged brothers are forced back together as one battles cancer and the other addiction, confronting the events that fractured their relationship..

Originally produced by Little Red Fox Productions, with national and international fringe performances.

Selected for the 2026 Guernsey One Act Play Festival, where Drum Machine Theatre’s production won the Frankie Billington Trophy for highest-marked play with an all-male cast and was joint recipient of the Barbara Minta Award for second-highest marked play. Director Fiona Dove also won the Margaret Moffatt Trophy for highest-marked first-time director.

Background

I’m a UK-based writer originally from the North West of England, having spent over a decade working in Australia. Alongside writing for stage and screen, I hold a PhD in animation and have worked in VFX and stop-motion animation, including on the Oscar- and Golden Globe-nominated feature Memoir of a Snail (dir. Adam Elliot).
