About Me

I started writing full-time for film, TV and theatre after completing a PhD in animation. With various projects optioned, I’ve worked for some great storytellers including – Aardman Animations, Rising Sun PicturesWarp X, The Lampshade Collective, Optimism Film and December Media.

I was the writer, alongside Tony Wright, on the IMAX film, Great Barrier Reef, which is touring internationally. The film, narrated by Eric Bana and produced by Emmy and BAFTA winning studio, December Media. A trilogy of ‘talking head’ short films, produced by Choo Choo Productions, completed early 2019 are about to hit the festival circuit.

My first full length play, Strawberry, premieres 2019 with 16 licensed performances, Melbourne, Australia.  Half of Me, monologue has been selected for a number of stage events and was one of six selected for the PlaySix Festival.  Be Someone Today, a one act play, was been selected by Manchester ADP ‘Script Aloud‘ (2019) and was shortlisted (reaching top 7%) Supernova 8 Festival of One Act Plays, Bench Theatre, UK.

I’m currently in development on a feature film and a theatre musical in addition to ongoing projects and commissions, including two TV dramas.
