About Me

Hi, I’m Kerry

I write for film and theatre. I occasionally direct and produce, most recently winning Best Director at the Asia Web Awards. I’ve worked for some fantastic storytellers, including Aardman Animations, Rising Sun Pictures and December Media.

I am at various stages of development on a number of projects. Incoming Words of War: The Wives is in postproduction. My feature script TANKED is having a live script read for invited industry guests, December 2022 at Backlot Studios. I have a workshop planned for a new play NOK. I’m also due to direct a short film ‘Cupcake’ featuring Ruby Duncan early 2023.

I been writing full-time since completing my phd in animation at Loughborough University. I don’t seem to be able to stop! Links to my PhD research are at the bottom of this page.

Originally from the North West of England, I am currently based in Melbourne drinking fabulous coffee. I’m also about to start on Adam Elliot’s stop-motion feature ‘The Memoir of a Snail’ (2022/23).

I’m always on the lookout for new collaborations and to establish connections. Please reach out if you’d like to connect!

Please continue to scroll down and take a look around. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out for a chat.

Thanks for stopping by and take care of you.
