INCOMING: Words of War, a 6 part web series has been officially selected for this years SERIESFEST Digital Shorts Competition for it’s world premier. The series has also been selected for this years SEOUL Web Fest and has received two nominations – Best Dramedy and Best Actor, Cam Faull.
My play, Brothers, produced by Little Red Fox Productions, premieres on stage in Melbourne later this year, with Daniel O’Kane and Liam O’Kane attached.
I started writing full-time for film, TV and theatre after completing a PhD in animation. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some great storytellers, including – Aardman Animations, Rising Sun Pictures, Warp X, Lampshade Collective, Optimism Film and December Media.
Great Barrier Reef, IMAX, narrated by Eric Bana and produced by Emmy and BAFTA-winning studio, December Media is touring internationally. I have a trilogy of short films, based on my stage play ‘Strawberry’, produced by Choo Choo Productions receiving a successful festival run. Including a world premiere of Half of Me at St Kilda Film Festival and nominated for Best Screenplay at Maverick Film Awards. All of Me reached the final at Lorne Film Festival and all three films were officially selected for Sydney World Film Festival and Geelong International Film Festival.
Strawberry has been published with Australian Plays and had a world premiere season run in 2019, Williamstown Little Theatre, Melbourne, Australia. Half of Me, a one-act monologue, was one of six selected for the PlaySix Festival. Be Someone Today, a one-act play, has been selected by Manchester ADP ‘Script Aloud’ (2019) and was shortlisted (reaching top 7%) Supernova 8 Festival of One-Act Plays, Bench Theatre, UK. Rocket (2019) was selected for Madwomen Monologues, Baggage Productions and one of 20 selected Voices of Women Live Articulate (2020). Punched (2020) has been selected for Short Works Series, Wyndham Theatre and PlaySix (2020).
